How do I check if my waitlisted ticket will confirm?
Enter your 10-digit PNR on RailAI. We fetch the live booking status from Indian Railways, then run it through our confirmation prediction engine — which draws on historical outcomes for that exact train, class and quota — and return a clear probability with a plain-language read.
What is the difference between GNWL, RLWL, PQWL and TQWL?
These are different waitlist types that clear at very different rates. GNWL (General Waitlist) clears the most reliably — it draws from the largest quota and benefits from cancellations across the whole route. RLWL (Remote Location) is tied to a specific segment and moves slowly. PQWL (Pooled Quota) is shared across several smaller stations. TQWL (Tatkal Waitlist) has the weakest historical clearance of the four.
Can I check confirmation chances without a PNR?

Will my RAC ticket confirm to a full berth?
RAC means you can already board and travel with a shared seat. Whether you get a full berth depends on cancellations before the chart is prepared. RailAI estimates your RAC-to-confirmed probability based on how this train and class have historically cleared. Even a low probability doesn't mean you should cancel — you are guaranteed travel.
How accurate is the confirmation prediction?
We measure calibration — whether tickets labelled '70% likely' confirm roughly 70% of the time — rather than a single headline score. Every result carries a confidence band showing whether it rests on strong historical data or a broader estimate. Real accuracy figures are published on the Accuracy page as verified outcomes accumulate.
Is my PNR stored by RailAI?
No. Your PNR is looked up in the moment and never stored. We keep only a one-way salted hash — enough to track anonymised confirmation outcomes and sharpen future predictions — but the raw number never lands in our database.
